I am very happily married. I married my beautiful wife Cassie in January of 2004. We just had our first child, Lily, on May 5th, 2006.
I love to read, listen to an eclectic blend of music, and I spend way too much time on the computer (especially on this blog.)

I am the son of Jacque and Steve, and the brother of Angela and Drew. I have lived all over the place in my life. I spent ten years in Wisconsin, five and a half years in Illinois, and the past eight in Michigan.

I am a huge sports fan. I live and die with the sports teams I root for. At one point in my life I informed my parents, “Sports are my life!” and that is not too far off the truth. Pistons, Lions, Red Wings, Cubs or Tigers, I love them all. I spend much of my time watching sports on TV, listening to sports radio, or checking sports websites. I believe that heaven will be incomplete without SportsCenter.

I also enjoy open and honest political debate. I don’t like name-calling or party-line politics. I consider myself a socially-aware independent with some democratic and some republican leanings.

Cassie and I attend Connection Church in Canton, MI. This is the best church I have ever been a part of and I would encourage anyone in the Detroit area to come by our church sometime. I guarantee you will love it. We are also involved with the young adult ministry which is called Reality?.
